Here at Regent Antiques we firmly believe that there is nothing more important than lighting when designing a modern or indeed a period style interior. We stock many different types and styles of lighting and we are confident that we will have something to meet your lighting requirements for both indoor and outdoor use.

Whilst some lighting is simply functional, there is also a lot of it which is there to provide atmosphere and ambience and to emphasise other design elements of an interior, such as wall surfaces and textures, or indeed an exterior in some cases. Please also see our range of lighting that may be used outside, including some very fine bronze statues converted for use as lamps and other bronze lighting pieces.

Our range of antique lamps and antique lighting pieces is carefully chosen to include examples for all of your lighting requirements and the contemporary and vintage pieces are representative of the styles in which they have been made.

When planning a new interior, or enhancing an existing one, have a look at our range of lighting and check back regularly because we are introducing new items all the time to replace those which are sold. If you see an item of antique lighting that you like, don’t delay, as these sell quickly and are often difficult to replace.

We stock a wide range of lighting, including candlesticks and candelabra, as well as many other types of lamp and lighting accessories.

Another very popular and much sought after type of lighting is the chandelier and you will usually find a variety of these in our London showroom, in a range of popular antique and vintage styles including Antique French Louis XIV Style, French Regency style, Venetian style and Art Nouveau - well worth the trip if you can possibly make it. Antique chandeliers vary in terms of size and style and we always aim to have examples in stock to meet all needs and budgets.

Another popular category of lighting item is the table lamp and, once again, our showroom is a treasure trove for anyone who is considering acquiring a vintage or antique table lamp.

In fact, we are very strong in lighting and a trip to our showrooms will often be the only one you need to make, so please use the website to create a shortlist and then, if you can, come and see for yourself just how varied our selection of antique and period lighting is.

Visit our Showrooms and Take a Look at Our Range of Vintage and Antique Lighting, Chandeliers, Candelabra, Table Lamps and Other Lighting Items

We would however ask you to obtain a shipping quotation before making a purchase, quoting the unique reference number on the item’s description page. If you are located in the UK mainland you will be pleased to hear that we are able to ship your purchases to you completely free of charge.

Our large North London showroom is open to the public for viewing every weekday between 10am and 5pm. If weekdays are a problem for you then please also be aware that we open occasionally on Saturdays. Please see the homepage of this site for our latest opening hours, including our latest Saturday opening arrangements as we do not open on Saturday every week.

In considering acquiring this this pair of antique silver plated candelabra we are pleased to supply a some guidelines that may help you make a decision on just what is most useful for you. Highly prized for hundreds and hundreds of years, silver has distinctive characteristics that have made it both beautiful and valuable and that is why many people have collected and used it in a wide variety of different varieties. There is a great quantity of antique, vintage and second-hand silver available available today. So how do you know what to pick? The foremost general guideline is that you ought to choose what you like. Give some attention to the reasons why you like this this pair of antique silver plated candelabra and if it appeals to your artistic feeling then why hesitate? Experts always say that you should opt for the very best you can afford, and this does not necessarily mean the oldest or indeed the largest. If you have a passion for a particular piece of silver such as this this pair of antique silver plated candelabra you will want to show it to friends and family and your pleasure will translate to them too. A key question is the condition of a silver item and how much renovation work has taken place. When purchasing silver antiques that are over 200 years old they ought to have what is called a 'patina' which is a combination of the colour and the wear. You cannot expect an old silver piece to look like it just emerged from the workshop - if it really does then it has more than likely been intensively restored which is not the best thing for a piece of antique silver. Be aware of that in the silver antiques world a touch of restoration is okay where a small ding or dent may be meticulously removed. But take heed of over plating, lead or silver solder, repaired seams, holes, erased inscriptions, patches and later additions or decorations. All of these are unacceptable for a piece of fine antique silver. Thankfully here at Regent Antiques we are careful to and supply only the finest unblemished silver pieces and if things like re-plating has been done we will tell you. We always give you ample shots of our silver pieces so you can see particularly what condition they are in. Do take a few seconds to look at the pictures for this this pair of antique silver plated candelabra to assure yourself of its condition. If you have any issues about it you are always very welcome to call or email us. We will be delighted to put your mind at rest about the condition of this this pair of antique silver plated candelabra. Keep in mind that silver tarnishes and you will have to take care of it by polishing it relatively frequently. It's a wise course of action to clean it with a long term polish and then then try to showcase it in a relatively airtight cupboard if you're able to. This will keep it dazzling for the greatest possible time. If you look after it well this this pair of antique silver plated candelabra will literally last forever.
