This is a fabulous Vintage Regency Revival dining set comprising a dining table and a set of ten Chippendale Revival dining chairs, by William Tillman, Circa 1975 in date.
The table is made of stunning solid flame mahogany and is raised on twin "gun barrel" turned columns on quadruple swept sabre leg bases which are fitted with brass toes and castors.
This table was purchased at great expense from the master cabinet maker William Tillman, Crouch Lane, Borough Green Kent in the 1970s.
The table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. This makes it a versatile dining table which can comfortably seat up to ten people.
The underside bears labels for William Tillman.
The fantastic set of ten solid mahogany Chippendale Revival dining chairs compliment the table beautifully and comprises eight sidechairs and two armchairs, all crafted from hand carved solid flame mahogany with drop in seats upholstered in a stunning fabric. The chairs are a rich colour with a striking grain and good patina.
In excellent condition the table and chairs having been beautifully cleaned, polished and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
