This is a fabulous Vintage Regency Revival dining set comprising a dining table by the master cabinet maker William Tillman, Circa 1980 in date and a set of ten matching dining chairs.
The table is made of stunning solid flame mahogany with satinwood crossbanding and is raised on twin "gun barrel" turned columns on quadruple swept square fluted sabre leg bases which are fitted with brass-capped toes and castors.
The table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. This makes it a versatile dining table which can comfortably seat eight people.
The underside bears labels for William Tillman.
The beautiful set of eight Regency Revival dining chairs are also by by William Tillman and circa 1980 in date.
The set comprises eight side chairs all featuring an attractive bar back design with sabre legs and drop in seats that have been upholstered in a stunning silver-grey fabric.
This dining set was purchased at great expense from the master cabinet maker William Tillman, Crouch Lane, Borough Green Kent in the 1980s.
