An impressive Vintage French Empire Revival burr walnut dining table and a set of ten swag back dining chairs dating from the mid 20th Century.
The circular burr-walnut top features satin wood cross-banding, the veneers with a lovely colour and grain. The top has a moulded edge over a frieze mounted with ormolu rosettes and raised on four tapering legs with gilt sabots.
The table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion and is raised on four elegantly carved legs that give the table its superb stability, and they terminate in brass cap castors.
The set of ten Regency Revival swag back dining chairs comprises eight side chairs and a pair of armchairs all featuring an attractive swag back design with 'drop in' seats that have been reupholstered in the finest claret damask.
Masterfully crafted in beautiful solid mahogany throughout, the finish and attention to detail on display are truly breathtaking.
This dining set will make a profound impact on your guests and will receive the maximum amount of attention wherever it is placed.
