This beautiful dining set comprising a Regency style flame mahogany dining table made by the Master Cabinet maker Master Cabinet makers Millwood, of Wittersham Kent, and bears their brass label on the underside, Circa 1970 in date, with a set of six bespoke dining chairs.
The table has a fabulous 5ft 6 inch diameter flame mahogany top with superb crossbanding in goncalo alves which sits on a solid mahogany hand carved swept quadruped base which is fitted with brass lion's paw castors.
There is no mistaking the fine craftsmanship of this handsome table, which represents all the very best elements of English furniture making. It is certain to become a treasured addition to your furniture collection and a talking point with guests at meal times.
They feature an attractive bar back design with hand carved decoration and 'drop in' seats that have been upholstered with a rich burgundy and gold fabric. The seat cushions can be removed if required in order to reveal the cane seats beneath which provide cooler and more comfortable dining in the warmer months.
