A stunning elegant vintage boxed Cartier ice bucket complete with sterling silver-gilt ice tongs, retailed by Cartier from their luxury homeware and barware range, and dating from the l970 - 1980s.
It features a high quality thick iconic crystal cube, of blue-glass form, with curved edges, complete with its ormolu swing handle. It is signed 'Cartier' to the base.
It comes complete with the original sterling silver-gilt Cartier ice tongs housed in their branded flannel pouch and retained in the original red Cartier presentation box.
This piece dates to the 1970s-80s and was part of Cartier's luxury homeware and barware range that was retailed in Cartier's New York and Paris boutiques and have become increasingly sought after by collectors of modernist design.
Condition:
The bucket is in really excellent condition, as are the tongs, with no chips or damage, please see photos for confirmation.
