A fine antique Victorian terrestrial 'Cruchley's Late Cary's New Terrestrial' 12-inch table globe, dated 1855.
The globe is fitted with a brass meridian ring, a horizon ring with printed months of the year and astrological signs, mounted on a mahogany x frame stand.
It bears a cartouche which states:
