This is a superb pair of antique 19th Century Swiss carved walnut and marquetry inlaid hall chairs.
They have striking inlaid Alpine hunting scenes to the backs, the figures in Bavarian clothing, the seats are decorated with inlaid Goat and Chamois and the chairs are raised on decorative carved legs.
These are very handsome pieces which would look perfect in any study or library.
