This is a highly decorative French mid-19th century Louis XIV style nine branch ormolu chandelier in the manner of Andre Charles Boulle, Circa 1870 in date.
Emanating from a central column, the upper part is dressed with three female caryatids interspersed with foliage.
The lower part with nine branches is S shaped and decorated with scrolling foliage. Each arm terminates with a drip pan, baluster form nozzle and a candle light fitting, and it is completed with a stunning round finely chased base with an inverted berried finial.
