This is an elegant antique Edwardian three pillar Regency Revival dining table by the renowned Edinburgh cabinet makers Whytock & Reid, Circa 1900 in date.
The rounded rectangular table top with reeded edge is in mahogany and has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. It can seat fourteen people in comfort. It stands on three gun barrel sabre leg bases, the centre section on four outswept legs, the end sections on three legs, all the legs terminating in decoratively embossed brass castors.
The underside of each section is stamped ‘10856’, retailed by Whytock & Reid
There is no mistaking the fine craftsmanship of this handsome dining table which is certain to become a treasured addition to your furniture collection, and a talking point with guests at meal times.
The chairs shown in the photographs are not included in the price, but are available if required.
