The rectangular top is fitted with the original inset gold tooled tan leather writing surface. It has an arrangement of three drawers in the frieze over a pair of pedestals each with three graduated drawers.
The desk is fitted with the original wooden knob handles and it stands on plinth bases. The drawer linings and sides are all made from solid mahogany.
