An impressive Vintage French Empire Revival burr walnut dining table, dating from the mid 20th Century.
The circular burr-walnut top features satin wood cross-banding and the veneer has a lovely colour and grain. It has a moulded edge over a frieze mounted with ormolu rosettes and raised on four tapering legs with gilt sabots. The table can seat ten in comfort and has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. The table is raised on four elegantly carved legs that give the table its superb stability, and they terminate in brass cap castors. There is a spare pair of legs that can be lowered when the table is extended.
This table will make a profound impact on your guests and will receive the maximum amount of attention wherever it is placed.
