This is a beautiful antique French Louis XV Revival king-wood, Sevres style porcelain and ormolu mounted occasional / work table, circa 1860 in date.
The table is of serpentine outline, with a quarter-veneered and crossbanded hinged top, banded in ormolu, and opening to a purple silk-lined interior. The front and sides are mounted with Sevres style oval porcelain plaques and the table is raised on tall cabriole legs united by an undertier and ending in ormolu sabots.
Completet with working lock and key.
