This is a magnificent antique French Art Deco silvered bronze sculpture, "Fille et Chevre", of a reclining nude woman with goat, by the sculptor Germaine Oury Desruelles, 1889-1978, bearing her signature, and circa 1920 in date.
This stunning sculpture is mounted on a striking rectangular marble base.
This high-quality hot cast solid bronze was produced using the traditional "lost wax" process, otherwise known as the "cire perdue" method.
This is a splendid bronze sculpture and it will no doubt become the centrepiece of your Art Deco collection.
