This is a totally fabulous Antique Late Victorian Sheraton Revival Mahogany and Marquetry dressing table, circa 1890 in date.
The botanical name for the mahogany that this dressing table is made of is Swietenia Macrophylla and this type of mahogany is not subject to CITES regulation.
It features a shield shaped mirror framed on each side by two gallery drawers with five drawers below. The dressing table is raised on square tapering legs that terminate in brass capped castors, all beautifully decorated with floral and foliate marquetry.
There is no mistaking its superb quality and fantastic design, which alone is certain to make this a talking point in your home and become a treasured addition to the furniture in your bedroom.
