An impressive large antique sterling silver Art Deco Presentation cigar / card / jewellery box with hallmarks for Birmingham 1937 and the makers mark of the famous silversmith Thomas Spicer.
The hinged top is engraved with diagrams of nine naval warships made by Robbs and built for the Royal Navy with the signature of the captains:
HMS Flint Castle
HMS Guildford Castle
HMS Hedingham Castle
Once open the reverse is beautifully engraved with a diagram of Edinburgh castle and is inscribed:
