This is an absolutely beautiful Louis revival burr walnut, ebonised, specimen marquetry, and ormolu mounted bureau plat circa 1860 in date.
 
This fantastic bureau plat features a shaped top with an inset gilt tooled black leather writing surface, the ornate foliate and floral marquetry is high-lighted by stylish ormolu mounts and contrasting shaped ebonised boarders.

It has three useful frieze drawers and stands on elegant tapering cabriole legs terminating in ormolu sabots.
 
Add a touch of unparalleled panache and style to your office or drawing room with this truly impressive bureau plat fit for a king.
