A superb, rare and unusual Louis Revival Gonçalo Alves, ormolu mounted and glazed freestanding pedestal display cabinet, Circa 1860 in date.
The Rosso Levanto marble top caps a concave frieze with ormolu mounts and three-quarter length glazed front and sides, opening to reveal a pair of glass shelves with its original plum velvet lining.
The lower section has beautiful quarter veneered panels on outswept legs terminating in lion's paw sabots feet.
Add a touch of French sophistication with this lovely pedestal display cabinet.
Complete with original working lock and key.
