This is a superb antique late 18th century flame mahogany 8 day English Longcase Clock by William Pridgin of Hull.
The arched brass and silvered dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and rococo scroll cast spandrels, with an eight day four pillar movement striking on a bell, in a beautiful inlaid flame mahogany case raised on bracket feet.
It chimes on the hour and quarter hours, with two weights, brass pendulum and winding key.
The beautiful flame mahogany and inlaid case is a treat to behold and the clock is in perfect working order.
