Antique Pair of George III Silver Entree Dishes dating from 1800

Bearing the hallmark  for London 1800 and the makers mark for the highly regarded silversmith Hannah Northcote. This lovely pair of entree dishes would look superb on any of our antique dining tables. They measure 13cm high x 32cm wide x 25cm in depth 25. The combined weight is 92 troy oz.

In excellent condition, this is a very attractive antique Edwardian silver cream jug and sugar bowl set with bright cut engraved decoration. The pieces bear hallmarks for Chester 1897 & 1900 and also carry the makers mark of Nathan and Hayes.

A very simple yet very elegant design with effective yet modest decoration around the edges as well as engraved ribbons above the blank cartouche.

The dimensions are, in cm,

Cream Jug – Height 7 & Weight 2.2 troy oz

Sugar bowl – Height 9 & Weight 3.5 troy oz

Antique solid sterling salt dishes by the renowned silversmith Hester Bateman.

This pair of salt dishes is beautifully crafted in sterling silver. They stand on three Queen Anne Hoof feet and have beaded borders. They also have blue glass liners and gilt interiors. These date from a time when salt dishes were a symbol of wealth due to the high cost of salt and other seasonings.

The measurements are, (cm): Height 4 x Width 6.5 x Depth 6.5 & Weight with a weight of 2.3 troy oz.
