This is an elegant vintage pair of leather 'Gainsborough chairs in a beautiful basil green colour, dating from the late 20th Century.
Gainsborough chairs stand on square fluted legs joined with an “H” Frame. they have outswept arms.
They feature deep buttoned seats and backs in dark basil green leather with good patina and finished with individually hammered brass stud work.
Handmade English furniture of this quality can last for generations if well-cared for.
