A superb set of twelve Irish George IV, Regency Period, flame mahogany dining chairs, Circa 1825 in date.
The set comprises ten side chairs and a pair of armchairs all masterfully crafted in beautiful solid flame mahogany. Each with a curved back and shaped eared foliate wrapped s-scroll carved toprail centred by a lappeted lambrequin, above an acanthus carved baluster form splat. The chairs are raised on stylish ring turned baluster and reeded tapering front legs, square splayed rear legs, with stuff over drop in seats that have been reupholstered in a sumptuous cream damask.
