This is a fabulous Vintage dining set comprising a Regency Revival dining table by the master cabinet maker William Tillman, and a set of ten Hepplewhite Revival dining chairs, Circa 1980 in date.
The table is made of stunning solid flame mahogany and is raised on a a pair of "gun barrel" turned columns on quadruple swept sabre leg bases which are fitted with brass toes and castors.
The table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. This makes it a versatile dining table which can comfortably seat twelve people.
The fantastic Vintage English set of ten Hepplewhite Revival mahogany dining chairs date from the mid 20th century.
The set comprising ten side chairs, the oval backs with shaped and pierced sun rondal and feature beautiful hand carved bow and leaf decoration. The drop in seats seats have just been reupholstered in a sumptuous teal damask. They are raised on elegant square tapering legs that terminate in spade feet.
This dining set was purchased at great expense from the master cabinet maker William Tillman, Crouch Lane, Borough Green Kent in the 1980s.
It is rare to find such a fabulous and comfortable high quality dining set.
Condition:
In excellent condition the table having been beautifully cleaned, polished and waxed and the chairs polished and reupholstered in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
