This is a beautiful antique Victorian triple clam shell shaped silver plated biscuit box bearing the makers mark IFS for the renowned silversmith Israel Freeman & Sons Ltd and Circa 1900 in date.
The scalloped biscuit box features a rounded triangular pyramid scalloped shell shaped body which is supported by a decorative twig frame raised on hoof feet and surmounted by a cherub.
The magical box opens simultaneously in three parts to reveal three hinged compartments.
This container could house anything from sweets to biscuits, trinkets or earrings. Whatever you choose to store in this lovely item you are sure to do it in style.
