This is a fantastic antique English made set of eight mahogany shield back dining chairs of "Hepplewhite" design, circa 1880 in date.
The set comprising a pair of open armchairs and six side chairs each with a pierced shield back above stuff over seats and raised on square tapering supports.
The seat cushions are in good condition and are upholstered in the original blue velvet fabric, we can reupholster them in your choice of fabric if requested.
The chairs have been masterfully crafted in beautiful solid mahogany throughout and the finish and attention to detail on display are truly breathtaking.
