This is a fine and rare vintage silver gilt & silver magnifying glass by Giovanni Johanes of Milan for Anatriello, dated 1978 and marked 800 for silver.

The magnifying glass is framed within a circular bi-colour rope twist surround, over a mount cast as two Chinese fish, on a tapering malachite handle within the original fitted green leather presentation case with certificate from Antonella Argenziano E Shelffield, Roma.

The attention to detail is absolutely fantastic and the quality is truly superb.
