This is a superb continental silver mounted ebonised walking cane, Circa 1870 in date.
This decorative walking cane features a plain knop handle with a screw-off container top inset with a silver coin above a bright cut scrolled leafwork ferrule and tapering shaft.
The secret screw off top is ideal for storing medical tablets, coins, diamonds, etc.
A truly beautiful piece that would make a fine addition to any antique collection.
Condition:
In excellent condition with only minor signs of use commensurate with age, as seen in the accompanying photographs, the stick displays beautifully.
