This is a fabulous Vintage Regency Revival dining set comprising a dining table and a set of ten Hepplewhite Revival dining chairs, by William Tillman, Circa 1975 in date.
The table is made of stunning solid flame mahogany and is raised on twin "gun barrel" turned columns on quadruple swept sabre leg bases which are fitted with brass toes and castors.
This table was purchased at great expense from the master cabinet maker William Tillman, from Harrods in the 1980s.
The table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. This makes it a versatile dining table which can comfortably seat up to ten people.
The underside bears labels for William Tillman.
The fantastic set of set of ten Hepplewhite Revival dining chairs were beautifully hand crafted from solid mahogany. The set comprises eight side chairs and two armchairs, all of which feature an attractive shieldback design and 'drop in' seats that are upholstered in the finest blue damask fabric.
