This is a stunning antique English Victorian silver plated nut dish or sweet dish, by the silversmith William Hutton & Sons of Sheffield with the Crossarrows mark and dated C 1880.
It features a fabulous shell embossed body and has a squirell eating a nut whilst balanced on one end, the shell is raised on a round pedestal base.
