This is an exquisite mid 20th Century Russian silver and niello rounded rectangular cigarette case, the cover decorated with Moscow State University, the Communist skyscraper surmounted by a Soviet star, with a ruby cabochon push-button mechanism, opening to a gilt interior, USSR Circa 1953 in date.
It is a very stylish case which can be proudly displayed in your collection.
