This is a fantastic English antique Victorian love seat, "Conversation Settee" which dates from Circa 1850.
It is of trefoil form and has three sections with scroll padded arms and frieze.
The settee has stunning buttoned pink upholstery with a fringed border and stands on turned walnut egs terminating in brass and ceramic castors.
In Victorian times conversation sofas were usually placed in the middle of the room for ladies who could freely engage in conversation with other guests.
It is a lovely piece of furniture which is certain to make it a treasured addition to one of the rooms in your home.
