This is a beautiful antique Victorian ebonised walking stick with sterling silver  pommel by Kendall & Sons Ltd, London and dated 1885.
 
The oval silver pommel features a silver engraved band below on a sturdy black laquered shaft that is complete with its original brass ferrule.
