This is a fabulous antique Queen Anne Revival burr walnut dining set, comprising a burr walnut dining table and eight burr walnut dining chairs, Circa 1900 in date.
The table is of oval shape, has it's original winding mechanism and has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion.
The knees of the cabriole legs have been superbly hand carved with shells and bellflower ornaments and the legs terminate in decorative ball and claw feet.
The table has been French polished to revive and bring out the beautiful grain of the burr walnut.
The set of eight chairs comprises six side chairs and a pair of armchairs. They were masterfully hand carved to match the table and we have reupholstered them in a beautiful azur damask.
It is a beautiful set which is sure to receive a lot of attention during your dinner parties.
