1. Antique Georgian Revival Mahogany Partners Pedestal Desk 19th Century

This is a superb Georgian Revival mahogany partners pedestal desk, circa 1880 in date.

The desk features an inverted shaped rectangular top with an inset olive green gold tooled leather above a frieze with three drawers.

The acanthus moulded edge frames a central drawer above the kneehole with a drawer to each side above pedestals with three drawers in each.

The desk with cupboards on the reverse side each with a shelf.

The desk is fitted with beautiful decoratibe brass handles and is raised on decorative carved scroll bracket feet.

The desk comes complete with working locks and key.

2. Antique Victorian Mahogany Marquetry Kidney Shaped Desk 19th Century

This is a lovely antique late Victorian mahogany kidney shaped kneehole desk Circa 1880 in date.

The desk is free standing and made from mahogany. It features gorgeous floral marquetry decoration with satinwood line inlay and banding. The top is inset with a beautiful gold tooled green leather writing surface. The handles, brass castors, and locks are all original and add elegance to this beautiful desk.
This desk features an arrangement of nine drawers for convenient storage, has a beautifully inlaid modesty panel on the rear and is raised on short square tapering legs terminating in brass caps and porcelain castors.

This stunning desk is sure to become the centrepiece of your furniture collection and will receive the maximum amount of attention wherever it is placed.

3. Antique Empire Revival Mahogany & Brass Set Pedestal Desk C1880

This is an Mahogany & Brass Empire Revival antique Pedestal Desk dating from around 1880. It is a fine example of a French Empire Revival pedestal desk in mahogany with hand hammered brass decoration.

Having been crafted from superb quality mahogany, this antique pedestal desk features a very attractive rectangular green and gold tooled leather inset writing surface which not only looks good but is also a joy to write on.

By way of storage, there are three large frieze drawers in addition to the three draws that can be found in each of the pedestals. All of the drawers feature the original ormolu drop handles. Each drawer also features beautiful hand cut dovetails and is lined with solid oak.

One of the drawers features a lockable internal compartment for storage of personal items and correspondence. In order to increase the available work space you will note that there is also a pull out slide on each side of the desk, each of which also features a green leather top with gold tooling to match the writing surface on the desk top.

This antique pedestal desk is supplied complete with working locks and keys.

4. Antique Victorian Caddy Top Mahogany Pedestal Desk C1880 19th Century

This is a fine antique late Victorian mahogany caddy top pedestal desk, Circa 1880 in date.

This desk is made from beautiful flame mahogany with ebonised stringing and crossbanding. It features a stunning gilt tooled black leather writing surface, is fitted with three frieze drawers, with three further graduated drawers in each pedestal. The desk is finished all round, so it is freestanding and the drawer linings are of solid oak.

It is raised on swept bracket feet and is complete with the original decorative brass handles and working locks and keys.

5. Antique Edwardian Inlaid Writing Table Desk c.1900

Here we have an interesting and functional antique Edwardian Writing Table or Desk which features attractive inlaid decoration and which dates from around 1900.

This antique writing table has been made with beautiful rosewood of the finest quality and is supplied complete with its sumptuous gold tooled green leather writing surface. The writing surface can be raised or lowered (tilted) as required for comfort when you are working. Lifting this section reveals a secret compartment for storing small items of stationery and other office essentials including paper, stamps, letters, pens, ink, etc.

By way of further embellishment this antique Edwardian writing Table has been inlaid with swags and harebells by someone who is clearly a master craftsman. The quality of the work is high and very satisfying to look at.

In terms of storage, the antique writing table is fitted with two drawers, each being half-width, which are located in the frieze. You will also see that there are three additional and very useful drawers situated beneath the back of the kneehole. These drawers provide perfectly proportioned storage for all the stationery you need whether you are writing for work or leisure.

This antique writing table is mounted on its original brass and porcelain castors and furthermore it is fitted with its original handles.

A further point that will be no doubt be appreciated by the new owner is the fact that this antique writing table or desk, has been finished to the front and the back so that it can be placed anywhere in a room. It does not need placing against a wall unless you want to.
