Crafted from beautifully figured flame mahogany, this elegant writing table features a rectangular top with a moulded edge and its original inset faded brown blind-tooled leather writing surface. Each side is fitted with three drawers, offering both symmetry and functionality. The table is supported by four finely carved, turned, and tapering reeded legs, terminating in brass-capped toes and castors for mobility and style.

Finished on all sides, this writing table is designed to stand freely in the center of a room, making it ideal for a spacious office or sophisticated study. It comes complete with working locks and keys.

Next, let us examine this magnificent antique Victorian architect’s desk, circa 1880.  The desk is made of satinwood and features Goncalo Alves marquetry inlay and satinwood crossbanding, and is from the renowned Victorian retailer and cabinet maker Edwards & Roberts.

The further features of this stunning architect’s desk include a hinged crossbanded lift-up architect’s top with ratchet adjustment above three short frieze drawers. The centre drawer is fitted with the original inset gold tooled black leather writing slope, and it is stamped EDWARDS & ROBERTS.

Raised on a substantial breakfront plinth base, this desk offers a combination of architectural beauty and practical elegance. It also retains its original brass handles, working locks, and keys.

This desk has been beautifully crafted from flame mahogany. The top has a decorative ormolu border and is inset with a beautiful gold-tooled green leather writing surface, which has been smothered in a plethora of gilded ormolu mounts making it an incredibly imposing and impressive item of furniture.

The desk features seven drawers for maximum storage, is freestanding, and the back is beautifully finished with three dummy drawers along the frieze, together  with a central modesty panel. It is raised on elegant square tapering legs that terminate in ormolu sabots and comes with working locks, keys, and tassels.
