This is a superb antique English Regency Revival flame mahogany serpentine sideboard, dating from the late 19th Century.
The shaped satinwood crossbanded top features boxwood stringing and is above a central frieze drawer flanked by two short drawers to one side and a cupboard to the other. The drawer fronts are fitted with lion's head handles and the drawers have batwing marquetry paterae decoration. The sideboard stands on elegant square tapered legs.
