This is a gorgeous antique Regency rosewood Canterbury, circa 1820 in date.
The three sections are perfect for storing magazines and newspapers. It is beautifully decorated with carved floral scrolling ends above a useful drawer, and it is elegantly raised on turned tapering legs terminating in the original brass cap castors.
There is no mistaking its quality and unique design, which is certain to add a special something to your home, wherever you choose to place it.
Antique Canterburies are extremely sought after and would be cherished by any collector of antiques. It would originally have been used for sheet music, today it could be used to store magazines.
