This is a fabulous antique Victorian flame mahogany rectangular library centre table, Circa 1860 in date.The table is crafted from beautiful flame mahogany and features a slightly oversailing rectangular top with a striking gold tooled green leather inset writing surface above five frieze drawers on one side with two small drawers o the other.
It is raised on a pair of scroll bracket pedestals with carved turned roundels linked together by a turned stretcher featuring a central gold tooled green leather clad panel, on brass castors, complete with working locks and key.
This writing table is a beautiful example of a free standing piece of furniture which is certain to make a statement wherever it is placed.
In excellent condition having been cleaned, polished, waxed and releathered in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
