This is a stylish and high-quality solid bronze sculpture in the form of a sophisticated dancing lady with a ball, in the Art Deco manner and dating from the last quarter of the 20th century.
This striking bronze features an attractive nude lady with the classic voguish Art Deco bob hairstyle and holding a red marble ball on her right hand.
She is depicted dancing elegantly, her face turned on the right-hand side looking at the ball, her arms wide open and her left leg stretched upward dexter. It features intricate, hand forged details with a beautiful fire-applied patina. The lovely proportions of the well-shaped body and the high-class pose make the whole sculpture look harmonious and dignified also add to the feeling of finesse that surrounds the dancing figure.
She is raised on a sturdy round base.
This high-quality hot cast solid bronze was produced using the traditional "lost wax" process, otherwise known as the "cire perdue" method.
Without a doubt, it will attract lots of attention wherever placed.
