The first item we’d like you to see is this\u00a0Antique English Sterling Silver Teapot<\/a> \u00a0which was made in London and dates from 1831:<\/p>\n

Offered for just \u00a31100 this is a \u00a0wonderful sterling silver antique teapot bearing\u00a0hallmarks for London 1831 and the makers mark of Richard Piers & George Burrows:<\/p>\n

The mark shown in the photograph above, RP over GB, stands for Richard Pierce & George Burrows II,\u00a0The mark was registered on 1826 and is known to have been\u00a0still active in 1847.<\/p>\n

All together a very attractive piece with lots of nice detail, for example:<\/p>\n

The teapot measures:\u00a015cm in height \u00a0& weighs in at 20.3 troy oz. It is in excellent condition.<\/p>\n

Let’s move on to another fine antique silver teapot, this one is an\u00a0Antique Victorian Silver Teapot made in 1837<\/a> by John James Keith of London:<\/p>\n

Antique Silver Teapot 1837<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Keith & Co., (c. 1824-1929) – silversmiths in Britannia Terrace, City Road, London. Founded by John Keith in about 1824, the company operated for more than a century, interrupted between 1868 and 1874 when his son John James Keith and his employees were working at Cox & Sons, based in the same street as his London agent Franck Smith & Co.<\/p>\n

\"Antique<\/a><\/p>\n

Keith & Co. were represented at the London exhibitions in 1851 and 1862, and John Keith under Cox & Sons were awarded medals in 1871 for silver designed by Talbert. By the 1870s they were also supplying non-precious metals and church furniture.\u00a0John James Keith, the son of John Keith, was later a partner of Cox, Son & Buckley.<\/p>\n

This teapot measures as follows:-\u00a0Height 14cm x Width 30cm x Depth 18cm and has a weight of 21 troy oz. It is offered for \u00a31100 and can be shipped worldwide, call us for a quote – UK shipping is free of charge.<\/p>\n
