Bearing the hallmark\u00a0\u00a0for London 1800 and the makers mark for the highly regarded silversmith Hannah Northcote. This lovely pair of entree dishes would look superb on any of our antique dining tables. They measure\u00a013cm high x 32cm wide x 25cm in depth 25. The combined weight is 92 troy oz.<\/p>\n

Still on the theme of antique silver tableware we have this\u00a0<\/strong>Antique Victorian Silver Cream Jug & Sugar Bowl<\/strong> <\/a>dating from 1897.<\/p>\n

In excellent condition, this is a very attractive antique Edwardian silver cream jug and sugar bowl set with bright cut engraved decoration. The pieces bear hallmarks for Chester 1897 & 1900 and also carry the makers mark of Nathan and Hayes.<\/p>\n

A very simple yet very elegant design with effective yet modest decoration around the edges as well as engraved ribbons above the blank cartouche.<\/p>\n

The dimensions are, in cm,<\/p>\n

Cream Jug – Height 7 & Weight 2.2 troy oz<\/p>\n

Sugar bowl – Height 9 & Weight 3.5 troy oz<\/p>\n

We close this review with a fine and stylish pair of antique solid sterling salt dishes<\/a> <\/strong>by the renowned silversmith Hester Bateman. These pieces bear hallmarks for 1770.<\/p>\n

This pair of salt dishes is beautifully crafted in sterling silver. They stand on three Queen Anne Hoof feet and have beaded borders. They also have blue glass liners and gilt interiors. These date from a time when salt dishes were a symbol of wealth due to the high cost of salt and other seasonings.<\/p>\n

The measurements are, (cm):\u00a0Height 4 x Width 6.5 x Depth 6.5 & Weight with a weight of 2.3 troy oz.<\/p>\n
