We are delighted to be able to offer for sale this remarkable antique Art Deco cocktail cabinet by Hille & Glassware<\/a>. This is a fantastic antique Art Deco satinwood demilune cocktail cabinet by Hille and suit of Cut Crystal Glasses circa 1920 in date.<\/p>\n\n\n

It is of architectural form, made in figured satinwood, the upper part comprises a pair of doors enclosing a fitted maple and mirrored interior with a pull out slide, over a lower part with two doors that open to house the bottles.<\/p>\n\n\n

It is fitted with lights top and bottom that have been rewired so as to be in working order and comes complete with a suite of cut crystal glasses to include: 1x decanter, 6x champagne glasses, 6x wine glasses, 4x sherry glasses, 2x nut bowls, 1x fitted juicer and cocktail sticks.<\/p>\n\n\n

This cocktail bar would be a wonderful addition to your lounge or family room and is sure to get noticed wherever it is placed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another beautiful example of Art Deco furniture<\/a> is this antique pair of Art Deco burr walnut \u201cRocket\u201d display cabinets<\/a>, dating from circa 1920.<\/p>\n\n\n

The circular cabinets each have hinged panelled glazed doors to the centre which enclose four glass shelves, with fretwork beadwork. They are raised on fluted conjoined triangular bases, featuring original handles with working locks and keys.<\/p>\n\n\n

These cabinets can be used to display your porcelain or silver collectables. They are an elegant pair which would also work well with contemporary interiors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The elaborately shaped mirror features a finely carved gilded frame hand painted with flowers. It is surmounted with a beautifully carved acanthus crest and is further embellished with an engraved and coloured glass sunburst design to the top section. <\/p>\n\n\n

Last but not least, we would like to bring your attention to this interesting antique Art Deco figured walnut serving trolley<\/a>. This is a striking antique Art Deco three-tier figured walnut hostess trolley dating from the 1920s.<\/p>\n\n\n

The walnut woods are probably the most recognisable and popular of all the exotic woods, having been used in furniture making for many centuries. Walnut veneer was highly priced and the cost would reflect the \u2018fanciness\u2019 of the veneer \u2013 the more decorative, then the more expensive and desirable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trolley is of decorative circular form and is fitted with castors.<\/p>\n\n\n

This is a very entertaining serving trolley which can also be used as a display unit. It is in excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned, polished and waxed in our workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
