The arch-topped upper section is surmounted by a decorative carved foliate pediment above two astragal glazed doors enclosing serpentine fronted display shelves, with glazed and canted sides.<\/p>\n\n\n

The bombe’ fronted base section is fitted with two half width drawers over two full width drawers and they are flanked by decorative canted side panels both richly inlaid throughout with trailing flowers, cornucopia and birds. <\/p>\n\n\n

The body is serpentine shaped with a glazed ormolu mounted door that features a fantastic Vernis Martin hand painted panel of a courting couple, with the two side panels depicting country scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n

The cabinet is bordered with boxwood lines and decorated with scrolling foliage, cherubs, mythical creatures, urns of fruit and anthemions.<\/p>\n\n\n

The moulded and simulated dentil cornice is above a pair of glazed panel doors with a mirrored back. <\/p>\n\n\n

The cabinet is raised on square tapered legs, united by a concave fronted platform undertier, terminating in spade feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
