Welcome to our regular roundup of newly listed antique furniture and other interesting, unusual and collectible items.<\/p>\n

This week we start with a fine Vintage Portable HMV Gramophone Mod 102<\/strong> that is offered for sale at \u00a3375. Ideal for enthusiasts or for those looking for an unusual decorative item or topic for conversation. This model was still being produced right up until the 1950s and produced a much admired standard of reproduction in its time.<\/p>\n

\"Our<\/a><\/p>\n

Showing hardly any signs of use, this model is in good condition and does, of course, bear the characteristic label showing the HMV mascot, “Nipper” the dog, listening to the gramophone. Next up, dating from around 1780, is this\u00a0Antique Dutch Marquetry Mahogany Bombe’ Bureau<\/strong> which is decorated with some truly fine examples of marquetry and would be a distinguished focal point for any home.<\/p>\n

Made from mahogany, the bureau boasts exquisite hand cut floral marquetry which is very typical of the finest pieces of Dutch antique marquetry furniture.<\/p>\n

The interior has eight small drawers, a central storage cupboard with an internal drawer and the writing surfaceitself is lined with beautiful tan hide. There is also a slide that opens to provide access to the compartment underneath.<\/p>\n

There are three capacious full width drawers. The handles and escutcheons are original, are in excellent condition and are of solid brass and there are working locks and keys.<\/p>\n

All of the drawer linings and back are made of quality solid oak and the beaurau has a lovely bombe’ shape.<\/p>\n

This bureau is in very fine condition, considering its age and represents a superb example of 18th century Dutch cabinet making at its absolute best. We are offering this fine piece for just \u00a34950,00 – find out more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A mere \u00a3550 will buy you this\u00a0Antique Regency Mahogany Jewellery casket<\/strong>\u00a0which is made from beautiful flame mahogany with brass inlaid decoration and dates from around 1830.<\/p>\n

The jewellery box is of rectangular shape and is has cut brass inlaid decoration in a geometrical style. Additionally, there is rosewood and brass inlay on the inside borders of the jewellery casket which also boasts an ebony strung border. See more details here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The box is fitted with elegant handles to the sides of the casket for ease of carrying. On the lid there is a cartouche with the name ‘Ada’ engraved in the centre. Inside, the Jewellery casket has a beautiful burgundy velvet lining and, furthermore, is fitted with a Bramah lock.<\/p>\n

Our craftsmen have faithfully and sympathetically restored this lovely piece in our own workshops and it is worth every penny of the \u00a33500 that it is on sale for. The\u00a0cabinet has three beautifully hand painted panels which are typical of Vernis Martin furniture. There is further decoration comprising of an abundance of exquisite ormolu mounts.<\/p>\n

The central panel decoration comprises of a beautiful painting which depict a courting couple whilst the side panels have paintings depicting country scenes. See more details here<\/a>.
\nThere is serpentine glass to the front and the sides and the interior is lined in a beautiful fabric. At the bottom there is a useful cupboard and the piece stands on elegant cabriole legs.<\/p>\n
