Rosewoods can vary from one variety to another even though they belong to the same species.<\/p>\n<p>It is a hardwood, native to India, South-East Asia and Brazil. It is notorious for being dense and hard to work with and blunting cutting tools. Brazilian Rosewood had the most beautiful figuring and so became rare due to being so sought after.
