Maple & Co<\/strong> was one of the most famous furniture retailers in London famous for the finest quality furniture. <\/p>\n

Founded in 1841 its premises were on Tottenham Court Road, London. By the mid 1880s they were the most successful and largest furniture manufacturers in the world, with their massive retail emporium becoming a tourist attraction in its own right.<\/p>\n

They had branches in Paris and Buenos Aires and acquired a number of Royal Warrants becoming the leading furniture maker in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. As well as serving the middle classes, they furnished hotels, embassies, palaces and beautiful homes all over the world including Tsar Nicholas\u2019s Winter Palace and many English country houses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
