They were mainly carriage clock makers, producing clocks in different English and French styles for the respective markets.<\/p>\n<p>The London business lasted until 1881 with the Paris workshop based at Rue Bondy continuing on until the beginning of the  20th Century.<\/p>\n<p>The full trademark comprises an R and C with a snake\u2019s head in between enclosed in an oval.
