We’ve just had several interesting Art Deco Silver items come into stock so we thought we’d give you a quick preview as these tend to be popular and sell quite quickly. First we have an Antique English Art Deco Silver Christening Set which dates from 1932:<\/p>\n

Antique Art Deco Silver Christening Set Dating From 1932<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

This lovely Art Deco Silver christening set contains the following items, all sterling silver;<\/p>\n

Mug
\nEgg cup
\nNapkin Ring
\nSpoon<\/p>\n

These items are supplied in a specially made case and carry hallmarks for Birmingham 1932 and the makers mark of Sanders & MacKenzie- Ernest Wilfred Sanders and Henry Arthur MacKenzie.<\/p>\n

Here we have two very nice examples for the collector, both in excellent condition and both finished to a very high standard.<\/p>\n

The first item has hallmarks for Birmingham 1961 and the makers mark H BROS for Harman Bros, well known Birmingham silversmiths.<\/p>\n

It measures 4.5cm in \u00a0height x 17cm wide x 9cm in depth which is, in inches, Height 2 inches x Width 7 inches x Depth 3 inches.<\/p>\n

The box has a classic clean Art Deco design and the interior is finished in cedar wood. It could be used for storing many things, including jewellery.<\/p>\n

The second item is somewhat smaller, measuring 2cm high x 16cm wide x 13cm deep or, in inches, Height 1 inch x Width 6 inches x Depth 5 inches.<\/p>\n

It too carries the mark of its maker, this time it’s\u00a0Birmingham 1948 and the makers Thomas Ducrow & Sons.<\/p>\n

Both items are in excellent condition and are priced at \u00a3395 and \u00a3375 respectively. These are ideal for any Art Deco collector.<\/p>\n
