Yes it’s been a busy few days helping our customers choose that special piece of artwork and here we are looking at three bronze statues that have recently left our north London showrooms to find new homes. These are three very different pieces and we are particularly proud of the quality of each of these pieces which is a testament to the discerning eyes of our buyers.<\/p>\n

First let’s look at this large and attractive bronze of a panther which is just about to pounce, mounted on a black marble base:<\/p>\n

Measuring some\u00a09 inches in height and 2 feet, 1 inch in width and weighing 37.9 lbs this is a heavy, imposing and very\u00a0detailed work of art which we considered to be one of the most life-like we have ever seen.<\/p>\n

It is made of bronze cast in the traditional way using the lost wax or “cire perdue” process.<\/p>\n

Another very impressive bronze, this time measuring a truly massive\u00a09 feet, 1 inch high x 3 feet, 10 inches wide and 3 feet, 10 inches deep, is this\u00a0Bronze Dolphin Fountain Display Piece:<\/p>\n

If this doesn’t stop people in their tracks and cause the occasional jaw to drop then we don’t know what will. A level of detail that is second to none makes this an ideal statue to place where it will be seen and admired and we hope that its new owner will enjoy it for many years to come.<\/p>\n

Our third and final bronze to have been sold recently is this\u00a0Art Deco Style Bronze Cabaret Dancer After Chiparus:<\/p>\n

Art Deco is always popular and we certainly sell a lot of Art Deco furniture here at Regent Antiques but we don’t restrict ourselves to furniture. We are always happy to offer our discerning customers fine examples of Art Deco artwork when they are available and this is a stunning bronze sculpture of an exotic cabaret dancer in 1920’s dress in fabulous Art Deco style.<\/p>\n

It is a recast of an original piece and bears a foundry mark as well as the replica signature of DH Chiparus. The sculpture measures 1 foot 8 inches in height x 1 foot, 2 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The weight is 16.8 lbs and it is set on an attractive marble base. We know that the new owner will be proud of this fine item.<\/p>\n
