This gorgeous bespoke burr walnut and marquetry dining room table comes with a  matching set of 18 dining chairs. Perfect for a grand dining room, a conference space, or a boardroom, this suite is sure to impress your guests and command attention wherever it’s placed.

The table is made from a stunning burr walnut which has an amazingly beautiful grain, and has been French polished by hand. French polish is an alcohol and shellac polish for wood. It takes a lot of patience and hard work, but is one of the most beautiful finishes available, producing an exceptionally high gloss.

This table has four leaves that can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion, via a special double winding mechanism. When completely wound in, the table is transformed into a circular table that is six feet in diameter.  There are six elegantly carved legs for stability that terminate in attractive brass cup castors. The table top has a band of exquisite floral marquetry and this regal decoration includes beautiful floral bouquets. 

The matching set of eighteen chairs consists of sixteen side chairs and a pair of armchairs. The chairs are made of solid walnut, have been beautifully French polished and upholstered, and the exquisite marquetry decoration is all hand-cut to match the table. The drop in seats can be removed in hot weather and the cane seats below utilised instead.

This absolutely monumental Louis Revival dining suite comprises a 5-metre dining table and seats sixteen people in royal comfort. It is truly an amazing piece of luxury furniture that will add splendour to any room. It is also appropriate for a conference room or any commercial space such as a feature piece in a hotel dining room or lobby, and is sure to be a talking point wherever it is placed.

Due to its beautifully-figured grain, burr walnut has been used for centuries by fine furniture makers. This large dining table has been further embellished with beautiful inlaid floral marquetry with burr walnut inlaid in pewter and various coloured veneers comprising cherry, pear, amboyna, burr walnut, magnolia, and tulipwood  with inserts of lapis lazuli.

To highlight the natural grain of the wood and the excellent artistry of the marquetry, we French polished this large dining table by hand.

The skirt of the table is decorated with ormolu mounts inset with semi-precious stones, such as agate, cornelian, and malachite. This wonderful large dining table is raised on two burr walnut ebonised and inlaid pedestals that are raised on hand carved  lion’s paw feet.

The matching set of 16 chairs comprises fourteen side chairs and a pair of armchairs. The chairs are made of solid walnut, have been beautifully French polished and upholstered, and the exquisite marquetry decoration is hand cut to match the table. The drop in seats can be removed in hot weather and the cane seats below utilised instead.

There is no mistaking the sophisticated design of these Regency style walnut dining room chairs and armchairs with stunning marquetry decoration. There are two armchairs specifically made for the head of the table and 10 chairs to place on either side of this grand dining table. These chairs would also be appropriate for a conference room. These bespoke chairs are typical of Regency style furniture, a style that was prevalent in England during the Regency (1811-1820) of George, Prince of Wales. He later became King George IV.

The chairs have elegantly carved frames and drop-in seats that are covered in a royal burgundy and gold upholstery. Underneath these upholstered cushions are weaved cane seats. This variation allows for cooler and more comfortable dining in the hotter summer months.

They have also been painstakingly French polished and are ready to grace your dining room or conference room.
